Our History
2009
On Friday, February 6, 2009, New Vision Christian Church was incorporated. On February 7, Pastor Luke invited nine believers to meet with him in his home to discuss the vision given to him by God. The nine believers unanimously agreed to support the vision and set out to find a location for the church. Eight weeks later, on Resurrection Sunday, April 12, 2009, the doors of New Vision Christian Church were opened. More than 150 persons attended the first public worship service held at the AMC Theatre in Morrow, GA – Phase I
2011
After 21 months of faithful growth, on February 6, 2011, New Vision Christian Church joyfully celebrated a significant milestone as they moved from the AMC Theatre to the Morrow Conference Center in Southlake Mall-ushering in Phase Il with hearts full of gratitude and excitement for what was to come.
2012
In just two years, the church expanded from nine to over 400 members. Remaining devoted in his commitment to God, Pastor Luke sought a more permanent space and God made it happen on July 1, 2012. New Vision Christian Church moved to its new location at 5300 Frontage Road, Forest Park, GA, marking Phase Ill of our growth journey.
2020
On December 10, 2020, God set in motion a vision for New Vision that Pastor Luke never imagined would come to pass in the midst of COVID-19. In what seemed like an unlikely season, the church transitioned from a shared commercial plaza to a 36,171-square-foot facility—creating greater space to serve, grow, and reach people for God’s glory.
As the ministries have strengthened and community support has continued to grow, a solid foundation has been established to carry us forward into the fulfillment of our mission and goals.
